VRC MIDDLE SCHOOL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

APRIL 2023

World ready VEX Middle School Team 3590B was granted the honor of competing in this year’s 2023 Middle School VEX Robotics World Championship hosted in Dallas Texas from April 27-29.

SKILLS!

After the team tested all skills on the practice field, it was time to run their skills matches. After 3 attempts on driver and programming autonomous, Team 3590B was ranked 55th in the world. With a high score for driving skills of 134 and a high score of 75 for auto, the Hawaiian Kids’ total high score resulted in 209 points.

A HUI HO

3590B participated with the Engineering division against 5 other divisions. Once a total of 10 qualification matches were completed, Team 3590B ranked 16th with a total of 82 teams in their division. The team obtained a record of 8-2-0 (Win-Lose-Tie), allied with 7830C, and created the 7th seed alliance. The Hawaiian Kids were thrilled to participate in the upcoming playoff matches and to get the chance to compete against many advanced teams. With time before their first playoff match, the team collaborated with their alliance to prepare themselves for the next game.

LOADING IN

THE ENGINEERING DIVISION

Despite the team’s elimination in match 6th of playoffs, They are so proud of their performance this season, both making it to worlds and worlds itself. They hope to continue cultivating and building their skills in future seasons, moving into the high school division. Our mentors, parents, and sponsors thank you for all your contributions in making this year possible! And with that, the 2022-2023 VEX Middle School Season ends.
