FRC BUILD SEASON
MARCH 2025
For Week 5 of FRC competitions, our team flew and drove to Nampa, Idaho for the Idaho Regional alongside 51 other teams. This was our first time attending a competition here! It was an amazing experience and definitely one worth remembering!
CELEBRATING TEAM SPIRIT
During the event, we engaged with fellow teams to exchange our FIRST Impact submissions and presentations. The FIRST Impact Award honors teams making a difference in their communities, STEM, and the world, fostering a positive environment to share ideas and learn from one another. We also gave out our 2025 Team Magazine, which shares knowledge to anyone who would like to know more about our team!
ALLIANCE SELECTION
On day two, we eagerly joined the opening ceremonies and began the qualification matches, collaborating with two other teams to strategize against opponents. Our team utilized scouting data to adapt our strategies and improve our robot's performance. Between matches, we reflected on our progress and made necessary adjustments. We ended the day undefeated, proudly ranked 1st place with a 9-0-0 record, excitedly preparing for alliance selection.
PRACTICE DAY
As the practice day of the tournament kicked off, teams brimmed with anticipation and energy. We began preparing our robot for the practice matches, swiftly making our way to the designated pit areas for inspections. Our team took the opportunity to familiarize ourselves with the field and hone our driving skills during the practice matches, closely observing our robot's capabilities. Regrouping at our pit, we focused on final tweaks and strategic preparations for the upcoming qualification matches. The practice day offered a remarkable opportunity for growth and camaraderie among participating teams, setting the stage for an unforgettable tournament ahead!
QUALIFICATION MATCHES
Throughout the competition, we were thrilled to team up with our alliance partners, brainstorming and developing strategies to tackle each match. Since our students had trouble holding and using their computers during Alliance Selection, we found a new use for our Impact Presentation Cart, using it to hold and securely transport our computers! By examining data from previous matches and getting to know each team's strengths, we formed an alliance with 2122, Team Tators, and 3859, Wolfpack Robotics. Our combined efforts led us to an exhilarating victory at the 2025 Idaho Regional! We couldn't have achieved this success without the guidance of our amazing mentors and the support of the incredible teams around us. It was truly an honor to compete alongside such talented and passionate individuals, making the entire experience an absolute blast! We're beyond grateful to have been a part of this unforgettable journey.

IMUA WAIALUA!
The Hawaiian Kids dropped to the lower bracket going against the 8th seed alliance. The winner of the lower bracket finals would go on to face the first seed alliance in the finals. Team 359 won the match with a score of 128-91. The second seed alliance continued onto the final matches, going against the first seed alliance once again. Although, due to mechanical issues, our alliance had to take a backup robot in place of our second pick, Team 1836, The MilkenKnights. Despite trying our best, our alliance lost both rounds and ended the tournament as finalists.
FINALS
The finals were a blast! We went head-to-head with an alliance that was absolutely incredible. The first match was tight, but we were able to win, scoring 190 to 158. The second match was just as intense, but we came out on top with a score of 196 to 140. We couldn't have done it without the amazing skills and teamwork of our entire alliance!
